I have just completed NOW-University's 7 Syndrome Healing Course. I found it to be informative and helpful. Usually when I purchase a health related book, I skip around to various topics and do not read from cover to cover. Having assignments, study guides and tests motivated me to read the entire book. I enjoyed learning about the 7 Syndromes, and now have additonal information I can use on my journey of healing, as well as ideas for further study. I would recommend this course as a basic introduction for someone interested in learning about nutritional supplements. In my opinion, 7 Syndrome Healing was a manageable composite of the Balch book, Prescription for Natural Healing, while also adding some basic physiology. Every time I sat down with my book and highlighter in hand to read a syndrome, I felt like I could color every word on every page. Yes, it was a great deal of information; however, the audio and tests helped reinforce the readings. Links to the NOW web pages provided additional information very helpful in the discernment of potential remedies or symptom alleviation. I derive such reward being able to help others in need by suggesting alternative and complementary medicine. 7 Syndrome Healing substantiates today's wisdom in easy lay terminology. Thank you and NOW Foods for making this program available. I read a lot of books and health magazines which meant that I was already familiar with much of the material. However, the format of classwork and tests forced me to devote more than the cursory review of I give most material and for this I'm grateful. The website was easy to navigate though I found having to re-enter the data at the beginning of each test annoying. Perhaps, the "remember me" box wasn't working on my system but if it had it would have been nice. I suspect the program was a lot of effort on your part to organize, promote, communicate with so many and grade the tests. Take a moment to pat yourself for a job well done. -Taylor R.
